How we calculated the Achdul: Take the time from sunrise to sunset, divide it into 8 equal parts, then add one part after sunset. Example: with a 7:00 AM sunrise and a 7:00 PM sunset, that's a 12-hour day (720 min) ÷ 8 = 90 min, so 90 minutes after the 7:00 PM sunset gives an Achdul of 8:30 PM.
